Training:

As an extension of our support programs, KDF offers training on both KDF and MRC batch sputtering equipment. Sessions are taught by factory experts with over 30 + years experience on MRC/ KDF equipment. KDF has over 600 man years experience working on MRC/KDF batch equipment.
 
Training sessions can be conducted at your site utilizing your equipment and available staff or for more in depth training, specific courses held at KDF’s Rockleigh NJ facility. KDF offers a variety of training topics and technique levels. Classes can also be customized to fit your specific needs. KDF maintains fully operational models of both KDF and MRC styles of equipment to use as a training base. Following is the details for the 600i Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Course taught in Rockleigh, NJ. Call for other class descriptions.

 

KDF 600NT Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Course

The KDF Preventative and Corrective Maintenance course is designed for those individuals who require a comprehensive knowledge base in understanding how the KDF equipment works and the appropriate methodology for maintaining the equipment. Skills gained in this course focus on beginner to advanced maintenance procedures and alignments. This course is a combination of lecture and “hands on” taught by factory experts in our Rockleigh, NJ location. Participants will work and be trained on a 600i style system. Learning will be reinforced at the end of each day by practical application of the day’s activities as well as through written examinations. Course participants should have a general background in electronics and a strong mechanical aptitude. 
 

Duration:

Course is a full consecutive 3- day session. (Catered lunch is provided)
 

Class size:

Minimum 2 and limited to a total of 6 participants in order to insure maximum training quality and effectiveness for each student. Training is provided on a first come first serve basis.
 

Payment:

Customers will be invoiced up to 30 days before the beginning of the class. Payment terms are net 30 from invoice date.
 

Price:

Course price, which includes all training materials, is $1800.00 per student. Group discount for multiple students is 3-4 (5%), 5-6 (10%)
 

Cancellations:

A full credit is made for cancellations more than 20 days before the start of the training session. Cancellations made between 11-20 days will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Students canceling less than 11 days prior to a session or failing to appear will result in forfeiting the entire fee.
